  1. Gorgeous flowers. I too have lately approached drawing/painting as naturalness — even my planning has plenty of whimsy. I spent a long time learning how to do various things, and now it seems like improvisation is key. If my thoughts are inside the image, like a musician focused on the melody, I’m doing the image the way I want to do it. In music, you’re supposed to hang onto the tempo — if you make a mistake, stay on the beat, keep going. So a more musical art is what suits me now.

    1. Thank you so much, Aletha! I agree with you about the music & rythm. I even created my own music for painting. It is a great feeling when it goes together and creates a groove for the brushes, too.
