This is a very spontaneous watercolor painting. The first idea was to test if I can transport the loose painting technique of my small sketches to a larger format. I wanted to experiment with how far I can build up a watercolor painting with loose paint and water-splashes. The motif developed through the painting process. I did not think about adding the building to the picture first, but when I had painted the first impression of the trees in the foreground it appeared in my mind.

Dies ist eine sehr spontane Aquarellmalerei. Die erste Idee war zu testen, ob ich die lockere Maltechnik meiner kleinen Skizzen in ein größeres Format transportieren kann.
