Abandoned Houses Inspired Me To Create These Watercolor Paintings (37 Pics)
Abandoned houses were the inspiration that made me start painting watercolors. And they are still my most important motif. In my watercolors, I am searching for the beauty behind their moldering planks. And of course, they fit perfectly into the Halloween season.
After more than 5 years of painting abandoned homes, from farmhouses to Victorian mansions, I decided to select the best out of a few hundred and put them in a book. And I thought it might be a good idea to show my personal favorites here at Bored Panda. Which one is your favorite? Or do you belong to the group of people who thinks that abandoned houses are creepy? It would be so nice to read your opinion.

Verlassene Häuser waren die Inspiration, die mich dazu brachte, Aquarelle zu malen. Und sie sind immer noch mein wichtigstes Motiv. In meinen Aquarellen suche ich nach der Schönheit hinter ihren schmelzenden Brettern. Und natürlich passen sie perfekt in die Halloween-Saison.
Nachdem ich mehr als 5 Jahre lang verlassene Häuser gemalt hatte, von Bauernhäusern bis zu viktorianischen Villen, entschied ich mich, das Beste aus ein paar hundert auszuwählen und sie in einem Buch zu sammeln. Und ich dachte, es wäre eine gute Idee, meine persönlichen Favoriten hier bei Bored Panda zu zeigen. Welches ist dein Liebling? Oder gehörst Du zu der Gruppe von Menschen, die verlassene Häuser für gruselig halten? Es wäre so schön, Deine Meinung zu lesen.
