Urban Scenery – Watercolors

I have always been fascinated by elevated railways through the streets of a city like in NYC, Chicago, Hamburg etc. Here are my latest attempts to make them a motive for my watercolors. I got the inspiration from strolling through the cities of NYC and Chicago in Google Street View and then tried to paint from memory.

Ich war schon immer fasziniert von Hochbahn-Gleisen, die durch die Straßenschluchten großer Städte führen, wie in NYC, Chicago oder auch Hamburg. Hier sind meine neuesten Versuche, sie zu einem Motiv für meine Aquarelle zu machen. Die Inspiration kam vom “herum-strolchen” durch NYC und Chicago in Google Street View.
