Jungle Of Colors V2 – watercolor

Sorry guys, I don´t mean to bore you but I had to paint that again on a different paper. I am still looking for ways to transport the looseness of my smaller sketches to the full sheet format. This time I tried to paint it on mould made paper from Hahnemühle, which I usually use for my workshops and painting demos, because it allows to paint quick & rough. The difference to the first version might not be too big, but painting this one took only a quarter of  the time.

  1. The vibrant colors resonate and hum with life. Not bored at all. In fact It’s great hearing about your process and in regards to the paper, what’s touching your brush touches you. I’d gather you feel the tooth, the resistance, the flow, the identity of the relationship between brush and paper. Great to hear your process, and especially working the same subject matter on a different paper to see..
