Summer Fresh 1- including painting steps

I got some new projects in my nighthift job which means less time for painting during the next weeks. I hope I can at least paint my during free Mondays and a small format watercolor from time to time during the nightshift. This one is my second try on the hot press Aquafine paper from Daler Rowney. The more I use this paper the more I like it and the small format is good for a quick  result. See my process below if you like.

  1. Excellent painting, Carsten! I full-on resonate with the process. FYI: In addition to sharing “Rough Sea,” I added you in to my weekly “Serendipity Itineraries” last on Saturday. Serendipity Itineraries is a weekly post where I am creating a mini-community from my blog travels. It’s intended to be a place where people can find resonant connections they otherwise might not. Thanks for your vibrant work!

      1. You’re welcome, and for sure!… Thank You for your work! Resonating with it, and there was not much of a decision to be made in my committee of 1. 😉

I look forward to you continuing to be there. I’m wonderfully plussed to keep you added in. I find Serendipty Itineraries to a fun and depthful way to bring sites from my eField trips to people who might have otherwise not found them.

Hence, “Serendipity Itineraries.” From my travels to theirs, Yours, to enhance yours and mine. Big Ole Two-Way Street of good stuff across developing community and engaging things that matter… like your work. Not to poke your ego, THOUGH, when I find things I resonate with, I tend to share them, so others may as well.

It is in NO way selfless, as I of course benefit. It’s important to nourish Life.

I simply feel when I dispense with competition energies — had enough of those in intense Martial Arts competition for a couple of decades — I find there is a component of Morihei Ueshiba’s wisdom… applied.

“As soon as as you concern yourself with the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weakens and defeats you.” ~ Morihei Ueshiba

“Adversity does not build character. It reveals it.” ~ James Lane Allen

Rather than attuning to embrace the suffering, I walk up each morning with, “It’s going to be a beautiful day of Nature filled with splendor and suffering,” Nature’ll kill Ya. So, starting out that way…I get blind-sided by less and less of the suffering… less and less, responding to triggers rather than reacting to them… oR. NOT dispensing with knowing raised eyebrows… whatever comes that day. Come whatever may. Good stuff. And, whatever comes that may, OH it certainly always comes, though I don’t stand alone until after… I have community behind mw, sometimes especially when they are asleep actually ot figuratively.

Just knowing the world is there…maybe because I most often work with a net firmly nailed to the floor, 🙂

And, I’m proud you allow me to promote your work. SUCH a great asset to value and substance towards visceral and vibrant things. Glad I can open it up to let even more people know.

Thank you, Carsten. If ever you want to to be removed, simply let me know. I full-on understand process goes that way sometimes. There will be no questions, simply a nod from me where reasons are wholly unreasonable, and your ask will simply be what it is, whatever it is.

Thanks for your work YOUR WAY!
