Refugium I / Refuge I

I like to dream myself into places. And there is no better way for me than creating these places in watercolors. It is really fascinating how the mood and light of an imaginated place comes to life on the paper while painting. I love this kind of painting meditation without being fixed to a reference photo or motive.

Ich mag es, mich an Orte zu träumen. Und es gibt für mich keine bessere Möglichkeit, als diese Plätze mit Aquarellfarben zu erschaffen. Es ist faszinierend, wie diese imaginierten Plätze mit ihrer Stimmung und ihrem Licht auf dem Papier beim Malen langsam Gestalt annehmen. Ich liebe diese Form des meditativen Malens, ohne auf ein Vorlagenfoto oder ein Motiv fixiert sein zu müssen.
