I had great plans for painting tonight but now I feel just too tired to start something. I started with framing my watercolors for the upcoming show and this was much more work than I thought so far. Anyway – more than the half is framed and there is still one week time to get the rest done. Good that I still have a few watercolors instock to post and so here comes one that I finished last Saturday morning. It will probably my entry for the “Our wonderful world” festival in Kharkiv/ Ukraine. I am invited there as honored guest and will paint a demo and do a little workshop. That is really wonderful and a great honor for me and I am looking forward to go there in July this year. Most of all I am happy to meet some nice people again I met in Gdansk in 2019.
Ich hatte große Pläne zum Malen für diese Nacht, aber jetzt bin ich einfach zu müde, um irgendetwas anzufangen. Tagsüber habe ich mit dem Rahmen meiner Aquarelle für die kommende Ausstellung begonnen und es war mehr Arbeit als ich dache. Wie dem auch sei – mehr als die Hälfte ist fertig gerahmt und für den Rest habe ich noch eine Woche Zeit, bis wir mit dem Aufhängen beginnen. Gut, dass ich noch ein paar Aquarelle aus der vergangenen Woche auf Lager habe, die ich Euch zeigen kann. Hier ist eines, dass ich letzten Samstagmorgen fertig gestellt habe. Eventuell wird es mein Beitrag für das “Our wonderful world” Festival in Kharkiv / Ukraine. Dort bin ich als Ehrengast geladen und werde ein Demo und einen kleinen Workshop machen. Das ist wirklich wundervoll und eine große Ehre für mich, und ich freue mich riesig, im Juli diesen Jahres zum ersten Mal die Ukraine zu besuchen. Vor allem freue ich mich darauf, hoffentlich viele nette Leute, die ich 2019 in Gdansk kennengelernt habe, wiederzusehen.
