Ireland Sketchbook #2

More sketches from Ireland. I miss the beautiful landscape – especially the Ring of Kerry and the Killarney National Park. It is to great to indulge myself in memories this way and bring them to paper.

Mehr Skizzen aus Irland. Ich vermisse die wundervolle Landschaft. Besonders den Ring of Kerry und den Killarney National Park. Es ist schön, derart in Erinnerungen zu schwelgen und sie auf Papier zu bringen.

    1. Thanks so much, Laureen. No, unfortunately there was not much time to paint on location, because it was a roundtrip with a group of people. I tried to do some b & w thumbnails when we were back on the bus that helped my memory back home. But I´d rather like to go there for a few weeks just for plein-air painting. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Maureen! It is hard to say in general. I guess mostly I start something wet on dry, but other parts of the picture might then be painted wet in wet. It is depending on the paper, too. And on the motive. Sorry, it is really hard to say, because it is intuitive. I am not really following a general plan. 🙂
