Dragonfly study

Last spring I was completely flashed by the beauty of the blue shimmering dragonflies I had seen when painting outside in Northern Germany. Since then I wanted to paint one and now I finally did. Okay, it is just a first study… a first step and there is still a lot to learn.

Letztes Frühjahr war ich total geflasht von der Schönheit der blau schimmernden  Libellen, die ich beim draußen malen in Norddeutschland gesehen habe. Und seitdem wollte ich immer mal eine malen – und jetzt habe ich es getan. Okay, es ist nur eine erste Studie… ein erster Schritt  und es gibt auch hier noch viel zu lernen.
