Maybe I should have used a reference photo for the vehicle, but this after midnight painting happened pretty spontaneous and without any kind of preparation. It started with some paint sprinkles on an empty sheet of paper that happened accidentally while painting on another one. It looked a little bit like rust and the rest was free association. Okay, the car could be more accurate but I like the colors of this quick watercolor.
Vielleicht hätte ich für das Fahrzeug ein Referenzfoto als Vorlage nehmen sollen, aber diese Nach-Mitternacht-Pinselei passierte ziemlich spontan und ohne jegliche Vorbereitung. Es begann mit einigen unbeabsichtigten Farbspritzern auf einem leeren Blatt, das sich in der Nähe des Aquarells befand, an dem ich eigentlich gerade malte. Die Farbspritzer erinnerten mich an Rost und der Rest war freie Assoziation. Okay, der Wagen könnte sicherlich etwas authentischer sein, aber ich mag die Farben dieses schnellen Aquarells.

No reference picture? I would have never guessed! It took me a year of drawing vehicles to be able to draw them from memory, and then only from a limited number of angles.
