Relaxed abstractions

I feel that it it is always a good practice to free my mind from the restrictions of a motife and just try to paint color shapes. Sometimes there is something coming out that is less abstract than I thought at the beginning – but this does not matter too much.  These practices help me lot in finding color combinations and become one with the brush.

Ich merke, dass es immer wieder einmal eine gute Übung für mich ist, mich von den Zwänge eines Motivs zu lösen und einfach Farbflächen zu malen. Manchmal kommt ungeplant etwas dabei heraus, das doch wie ein Motiv aussieht – aber das ist nicht allzu wichtig. Diese Übungen helfen mir dabei, Farbkombinationen zu finden und eins mit de Pinsel zu werden.
