It was (and still is) cold today but the sun was shining the whole day and giving new energy. So I decided to start to work on the 2nd chapter of my “Rhapsody of Flowing Colors” movie and tried to create some spring atmosphere in a painting. For my film I need two versions of this scene and I finished the first one today. Normally it would take about 3 -4 hours to paint a watercolor like that but with changing the camera position and adjusting the camera view for every single of about 150 single takes it took 10 hours. Good thing I did stand up early in the morning.

Send me some of your energy! That is an impressive accomplishment for one day.

Thanks so much, Holly! Sorry, but I have to be a little bit tight with my energy – it only comes on sunny Mondays and disappears Tuesday in the morning for the rest of the week! 🙂

I enjoy these indepth posts of your progression through a painting. Helps an amature like me see the little steps that make the big picture. Thank you.

Thanks so much, Mathilda-Anne Florence! I am an amateur, too – I am just spending a lot of time with painting.
