Brushstrokes 2018, January

It has been a creative month for me. A little bit strenous, because I really miss the daylight working the nightshift and sleeping most of the brighter hours. I tried to bring some “light” into my life with painting and most of the nights it worked pretty good and kept me awake. And there was the work on my “Rhapsody of Flowing Colors” project keeping me extra busy. Although I was off from work the first week of the week I feel ready for vacation already again. Here are my watercolors from January collected in one gallery and another chance to watch my video. 🙂 Have a nice February everybody.

Es war ein durchaus kreativer Monat für mich. Ein bisschen anstrengend, weil ich wirklich zuwenig Tageslicht abbekomme, wenn ich in der Nachtschicht arbeite und die meisten helleren Stunden des Tages verschlafe. Ich habe versucht, mit Malen ein wenig “Licht” in meinen Alltag zu bringen, und die meisten Nächte hat das ganz gut geklappt und mich vor dem Einschlafen bewahrt. Und dann war da natürlich die Arbeit an meinem Projekt “Rhapsody of Flowing Colors”, dass mich den ganzen Monat hindurch beschäftigt hat. Obwohl ich die erste Woche des Jahres frei hatte,  fühle ich mich trotzdem schon wieder urlaubsreif. Hier sind meine Aquarelle aus dem Januar, gesammelt in einer Galerie, und eine weitere Möglichkeit, sich mein Video anzusehen. 🙂 Ich wünsche Euch einen schönen Februar.
