Another practice from the nightshift, inspired by the sunshine from the last few days. I am just trying to paint loose and to omit details. Most of it was painted with a large flat brush, oly some lines added with a rigger-brush.

Hi Carsten, It’s time to” butcher” the cats or maybe someone else you love. Try it?

Hey Holly, no, I won´t “butcher” the cats or somebody else! LOL! 🙂 I am absolutely not interested in painting animals or people I know. Normally new motives find me when it is time… and there are still so many things I´d like to paint but don´t feel ready for it – but pets and people I love won´t be the subject. I have a vague plan for portraying my hometown and area starting this summer, but before that I have to improve my skills and to finish my film project (which will probably take until next autumn). And I started to paint figures… but they are nothing I´d like to share yet.
