My mood is a little bit inconsistant lately. It is probably the weather that makes me tend to feel inbetween high energetic and dog-tired. I am now painting on five different pieces simultaniously and I might start another one tonight. On the one hand I like to switch from one watercolor to another while the others are drying. On the other hand I find it more difficult to decide when one is finished in this process. Meanwhile I continue painting my sketches, for example these two. 🙂
Meine Stimmung ist zur Zeit ein wenig wankelmütig. Es ist wahrscheinlich das Wetter, dass mich irgendwo zwischen hoch-energetisch und hundemüde schaukeln lässt. Inzwischen male ich nachts an fünf verschiedenen Aquarellen simultan und ich werde heute Nacht wohl noch ein sechstes beginnen. Einerseits mag ich es, von einem Aquarell zu eine anderen zu wechseln, während die anderen trocknen. Auf der anderen Seite finde ich es bei diesem Malprozess schwieriger zu entscheiden, wann eines fertig ist. Währenddessen fahre ich fort, meine Skizzen zu malen, wie z.B. diese beiden. 🙂

I think all creative people go in and out of moods. Sometimes you burst at the seams with energy, the next day you’re cashed. Just ride the tide and allow yourself to rest. Your paintings are always wonderful…perhaps reflecting your mood too.

Thanks so much, Claudia! I was not complaining… it is just as it is. My life is happy and going easy now and being tired and a bit moody sometimes is part of my nature.
