Vacation at home

What a nice surprise! A few weeks I realized that I am off from work for one more week… and this week is now. Because we have to plan our vacation time at the beginning of the year I forgot about it – and it became an unexpected gift. It is wonderful to spend some time at home with my cats and paint without any time-limit. I decided to be pretty lazy and the weather forecast makes it easy to stay calm and comfy at home. I feel a bit lazy about posting here, too but today I thought it would be time while my watercolor in progress is drying.  Time to show you a few of my paintings from the last days.

Was für eine schöne Überraschung! Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich festgestellt, dass ich noch eine Woche frei habe… und diese Woche ist jetzt. Weil wir unseren Urlaub schon zum Anfang des Jahres einreichen müssen, hatte ich diese Woche glatt vergessen – und so wurde sie zu einem unerwarteten Geschenk. Herrlich, viel Zeit zu hause mit meinen Katern und mit Malen zu verbringen, ohne auf die Uhr schauen zu müssen. Ich habe beschlossen, ziemlich viel zu faulenzen und die Wettervorhersage macht es leicht, die “Füße still zu halten”. Ich bin sogar ein bisschen zu faul, um meine täglichen Posts hier zu schreiben, aber heute, während das Aquarell, an dem ich gerade arbeite, etwas trocknet, dachte ich, es wäre mal wieder Zeit. Zeit, um Euch ein paar meiner Aquarelle aus den letzten Tagen zu zeigen.
