The more I do it the more I enjoy this relaxing way of painting. Not having any idea about the motive I start with some color splashes on the paper and then the picture develops in front of my eyes, one step inspiring the next. Pure meditation. 🙂
Have a nice weekend.

Pure Meditation. 🙂
Ich wünsche Euch ein schönes Wochenende.
I think it must be less frustrating to do it this way. I get really upset when i try to paint something infront of me as it never looks as good. Only when i forget what i had in mind do i start appreciating what i drew! 🤣

Painting should never be frustrating, Gwendolyne! I always try to be just to be inspired by what I see and try to create something new. If I want to catch exactly what I see I´d better take a photo. 🙂 Painting is my therapy – there is no place for frustration.

Carsten, you always amaze and dazzle me with your work. I rarely comment on your pieces but that’s because if I commented on everything I liked, I’d look like a groupie at a Beatles concert. haha 🙂 I see your work at hauntingly beautiful. 🙂
