Intuitive Landscape I

This one was starting a new series of landscape paintings where I´d like to explore the possibilities of painting more intuitive. A brushstroke gives a initial inspiration and the picture is developed step by step – one brushstroke inspires the next. I already found out that it requires a lot of inner peace and concentration which is not always easy to achieve. But  do like the results (especially the “Intuitive Landscape II” from the last post) so far and I hope to improve my way of painting with these practices.

Dieses Aquarell war er Start zu einer Serie von Landschaftsaquarellen, bei denen ich die Möglichkeiten des intuitiven Malens ausloten möchte. Ein Pinselstrich gibt die initiale Inspiration und das Bild entwickelt sich Schritt für Schritt – ein Pinselstrich inspiriert den nächsten. Ich habe schon herausgefunden, dass es eine Menge innerer Ruhe und Konzentration erfordert, was für mich leider nicht immer so leicht zu erreichen ist. Aber ich mag die Resultate (vor allem “Intuitive Landscape II” aus dem letzten  Post) bis jetzt, und ich hoffe, dass ich mit diesen Übungen meine Malweise voran bringen kann.
