After using a huge and bright variety of colors in my watercolors lately I did feel for painting with a reduced palette again. This was so effortless and wonderful relaxing that I might try some more in this style.

Nachdem ich in der letzten Zeit mit einer großen und hellen Variation von Farben in meinen Aquarellen gemalt habe, war mir mal wieder nach einer reduzierten Palette. Das war so einfach und wundervoll entspannend, dass ich wohl och ein paar weitere Versuche in dieser Richtung unternehmen werde.

Thanks so much, Margaret! I like them, too. Sometimes it feels so damn right to reduce the palette after painting “full-color” for a while.

So nice to be catching up with your fabulous sketches, Carsten! I’ve been away from poetry for a few months since the words stopped ‘sticking’ together for me in meaningful ways . . . Your colors on the other hand flow like milk & honey, a delight to the eyes and to the spirit! Bravo!
