Marburg – Golden Hour

I painted this based on a watercolor sketch from my last year´s journey to the beautiful city of Marburg. It seems that I won´t make it there this year, but painting this brought up some good memories of my last trip to the place of my childhood. I did not care too much about the architecture of the castle. The painting was more about being a spontanous one and describing a feeling.

    1. Thanks so much, Holly! You are very welcome. I did read somewhere that it would destroy the magic of a painting to show the progress. But isn ´ t it some kind of magic that there is still a neat result after making all those mistakes in the progress? 🙂 I take these progress pictures for myself to check where I loose or win the picture ( most times I loose it, still ) But I am happy when you find them valuable, too. 🙂
