Inspired by a wonderful weekend and the song with the same title. It is my second version of this landscape from my mind and it was pure grace to paint it again – maybe better this time.

Thanks so much, Holly! I am not so sure about getting better and better. Sometimes I can almost feel it, too… and the painting process is still getting more fun with every new painting. But when I am finished with a picture I am still dissapointed with the result pretty often. In this case I am happy with almost everything because I still remember how much fun it was to paint it – almost effortless. 🙂

Thanks so much, Margaret! 🙂 I like to switch between the hot-press paper and the rough Fabriano Artistico that I used here. The textured look comes from the paper structure I guess.
