I said it before: I love black & white! Movies, photographs, drawings and even paintings – I always feel attracted by good b&w contrasts! Maybe watercolor is not the best medium for black & white paintings but it is pretty good to practice.
Ich sagte es schon früher: Ich liebe schwarz/weiß! Filme, Fotografien, Zeichnungen und sogar Malerei – ich fühle mich immer angezogen von guten s/w Kontrasten! Vielleicht ist Aquarell nicht das beste Medium für Schwarz/Weiß-Malerei, aber es gut zum Üben.

masterful use of value and of composition. These are the first and most important parts of any work in my mind-color is secondary yet we allow ourselves to get hung up on it. You don’t.
