Thanks so much, Holly. It is always time to paint directly on site. On site / plein-air painting is always the greater experience. If I would not have to work in an office job I would probably spend all my time outside and paint. By now it is a rare experience for me unfortunately.
But when you do you will have all your hours of brushwork to make it a very special event and an even greater experience. I too often work from memory at night and sometimes set up a still life to bring the outdoors in. I don’t work from photos if I can help it.
And I didn’t have your discipline to work everyday when I too had an indoor all day job. (i am retired from work now) You must give yourself great credit for your work ethic. Your painting is truly beautiful. I always look for the next set with anticipation.

Thanks so much, Holly! I donΒ΄t need discipline for my everyday painting β it has become something normal for me like eating, drinking, sleeping and it gives me a chance to relax completely. π
I love these! Really loving the use of a pop of bright colours to add interest

Carsten, These are wonderful and free. My favorite is the last one.
Could it be time to paint directly on site?

Well, I like the first one best. Fine play of light in that one.

Love this. Is this inspiration from a photo or book or your imagination? The dimensions are perfect.
