Always when I don´t feel to paint something specific I come back to paint trees. It is a 1st class therapy for me. Very relaxing and always satisfying.
Immer wenn mir nicht danach ist etwas Spezielles zu malen, komme ich auf Bäume zurück. Das ist eine erstklassige Therapie für mich. Sehr entspannend und immer befriedigend.
Ich mag das. I am learning German, and learning watercolors — your post inspires both. Beautiful work!

Oh I love trees! I love the Japanese concept of ‘forest bathing’. I love looking at the canopy of trees surrounding our city. Trees activate my senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, the air has certain freshness in areas where they are inhabited by trees. In Sydney, I have seen the most vintage of trees, huge roots firmly on the ground and their canopy of branches reaching up to the sky! O what a beautiful sight! A peaceful, calming & relaxing experience, healing, too! After living in the Middle East desert for many, many years, one of the many good things in our repatriated life is the experience of being surrounded by trees! Keep on painting trees, please.
