
Some impressions from today´s watercolor plein-air meeting in Essen, Germany at the world heritage site Zeche Zollverein. We have been really lucky with the weather and had fun painting outdoors. And I finally could paint on my Fabriano paper that I ordered a few weeks ago! Awesome – the very best paper I painted on! Not to forget my new plein-air easel that I got today – great!!!

Einige Eindrücke von unserem heutigen Aquarell Plein-Air Treffen in Essen auf dem Gelände des Welterbes Zeche Zollverein. Wir hatten großes Glück mit dem Wetter und großen Spaß beim Draußen-Malen. Und ich konnte endlich mal auf meinem Fabriano-Papier arbeiten, das ich mir vor ein paar Wochen bestellt hatte! Einmalig – das beste Papier auf dem ich bislang gemalt habe! Und nicht zu vergessen: Ich habe heute meine neue Plein-Air Staffelei bekommen – Großartig!

Wonderful watercolors and great photos. At first, from the initial image, I thought it was Gasworks Park in Seattle! They look quite similar.
