Sketching…waiting for the weekend

One more day to work until the weekend. I feel like i am being on hold. It has been raining the whole week and it seems to make me feel a little moody. Last night i came home from work wet to the bones. The temperatures are lower than usual for mid of June, too. I did not feel for more than a few sketches. The weather forecast promises higher temperatures for next week… and more rain and thunderstorms. 😦  What for do i have this balcony??!

Noch ein Arbeitstag bis zum heiß-ersehnten Wochenende. Ich fühle mich ein wenig wie in einer Warteschleife. Es hat die ganze Woche über geregnet und mir scheint, es macht mich langsam etwas mürbe. Letzte Nacht bin ich nass bis auf die Knochen von der Arbeit gekommen. Die Temperaturen sind für Mitte Juni ungewöhnlich niedrig. Ich konnte mich lediglich zu ein paar Skizzen aufraffen. Die Wettervorhersage verspricht höhere Temperaturen für die kommende Woche… und mehr Regen und Gewitter. 😦  Wozu habe ich eigentlich diesen Balkon??!

  1. Each one is wonderful in its own way. The broad reflection of the house in the 2 minute sketch is especially marvelous as are the long liquid branches and their reflections of the woodland scenes.

  2. I love your sketches! that last one is so moody but I love it for that fact. You do such wonderful work in two minutes…..I hope you get some good weather soon, I understand about the weather affecting one’s mood. We have been having cooler temps lately and I am loving it so far because of our drought and because it gets so dang hot here during the summer. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Margaret! 🙂 It has been raining like crazy in Germany during the last weeks. People have been killed by drowning, villages completely damaged… I am doing fine – i was just waiting for the weekend! Feels much better now – even with rain! 🙂
